Set in the splendor of the Coastal Mountain Range, Fairmont Hotel’s Chateau Whistler is the top destination at the number one resort in North America – Whistler, B.C. IBI Group were architects for the Phase II Expansion, which included the expansion of 221 additional guest rooms, 43 of which are Gold Entre Suites, a 1,000 seat ballroom, meeting rooms, expansion to the existing kitchen, administration offices, a 242 stall parkade and upgrading of the existing guest floor corridors.

More recently, IBI Group designers were called upon to upgrade the Mallard Lounge and build a new outdoor pool.

IBI Group provided full architectural services to Fairmont Hotels (formerly CP Hotels) for this project in association with interior design by Frank Nicholson, of Boston MA.
