Salt Lake City Intermodal Hub

The facility encompasses the design of a 35,000 sq.ft. terminal for Amtrak, Utah Transit Authority (bus and LRT), Greyhound and taxi passengers. The facility will include the retrofitting and seismic upgrade of an existing warehouse facility. The terminal building is also being submitted for LEED Certification.
Also, IBI Group was commissioned to produce a Station Area Plan for the lands surrounding the facility. This study establishes a context for the Intermodal Hub, and explores the role that it will play as a catalyst for future development in the immediate area.
